GFO® / Graphite-PTFE Packing (Style 8000T)
Style 8000T is braided from 100% genuine GFO® fiber — a filament yarn made from finely ground particles of high quality graphite encapsulated in a Teflon® matrix, engineered to eliminate graphite migration. The result is a premium compression packing that combines the heat dissipation properties of graphite with the broad-spectrum chemical resistance of Teflon®, performing reliably across the full pH range of 0 to 14. Suited for rotating pumps, reciprocating pumps, valves, mixers, blenders, extruders, and agitators across chemical processing, general service, waste and water treatment, power generation, and pharmaceutical applications. Constructed using an interlock braid for maximum density and durability. Temperature rated to 550°F / 290°C. Shaft speed rated to 4,300 FPM / 21 MPS. Pressure rated to 300 PSI / 20 BAR in pump service and 2,000 PSI / 138 BAR in valve service. Available in black in sizes 1/8" through 1" square, supplied on 5 lb spools.
