EPDM Sheet

Weather / Ozone / UV Wide Temp Range Not for Oils/Fuel

EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a highly durable synthetic rubber classified as an M-class elastomer under ASTM D-1418, as well as SAE J200 and ASTM D2000 standards. EPDM gaskets provide long-lasting sealing in extreme weather and across wide temperature ranges. They offer outstanding resistance to aging, wear, wind, ozone, and UV light compared to many other rubbers. Additional benefits include color stability (no staining of mating surfaces) and good electrical insulation properties. However, EPDM is not recommended for exposure to oils, gasoline, halogenated solvents, or concentrated acids.
